Monday Night @ Tres Agaves rocked the house with the hottest Tequila and mixology contest in Northern California
With the help of Tres Agaves Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Lounge, BiteClub hosted yet another amazing Service Industry Networking Event -- this time with an interactive twist.
With the help of Tres Agaves Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Lounge, BiteClub hosted yet another amazing Service Industry Networking Event -- this time with an interactive twist.
Six of Greater Sacramento's best bartenders competed in a mixology competition using their choice of either Casa Noble or Corralejo Tequila. The twist - everyone in attendance got the opportunity to sample each of the six cocktails and vote for their favorites.
Over 150 people filled Tres Agaves' patio in support of this networking event. 150 people on a Monday night!!! Our six contestants were the rockstars of the evening. Only a 40 vote difference came between the six contestants -- First and Second place varied by only 3 votes.
Contestants had 30 minutes each to prepare batches of their tasting tequila mixes to share with the crowds. Homemade ingredients, infusions, tonics, and syrups were encouraged.
Saan the bartender from Blue Cue created the "Vero T" and hailed the First Place title. (Check out the ingredient list below).
The team at Tres Agaves was amazing to work with and offered up quite a spread along with offering each BiteClub member a bottle of Tres Agaves nectar to take home. Another twist to BiteClub's events was the addition of an educational component. A tasting station featuring full lines of both Casa Noble and Corralejo Tequila. Educators presented details on the maturity of each tequila, how they extract their sweet nectar, and the differences between Blanco, Anejo, and Reposado.
